Mobility During Disasters

During good weather, people with no or little ability to drive face difficulties in getting where they need to go.  In a disaster, the lack of mobility can be life threatening.

That's why Snotrac works with the Regional Alliance for Resilient & Equitable Transportation (RARET) to host a monthly meeting to address mobility challenges unique to people who need specialized transportation options.

During the initial phase of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Snotrac created a COVID-19 resource webpage and mapped vaccine locations throughout the county.  Snotrac has also assisted in finding solutions to transportation challenges unique for transporting COVID-19 positive individuals to cold weather shelters.

The monthly meeting of the RARET Snohomish County group is on the third Friday of each month, from 2-2:30 p.m.  Contact Brock Howell for meeting information, brock@gosnotrac.org.
