About the Event
This Snotrac subarea committee focuses on the area that includes Everett, Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Woodway, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, and Bothell. Attendees include public agencies, nonprofit social service organizations, and other civic leaders and community members.
During our meeting on February 11, WSDOT will present its SR 99 Lynnwood and Unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study.
SR99 is Snohomish County's most fatal roadway. From 2013 through 2024, there were 66 fatal collisions in the SR99/Evergreen Way corridor. Nearly half (31) have occurred in the last 4 years. A disproportionate number of impacted individuals are pedestrians.
WSDOT's study will identify long- and near-term improvements along SR 99 between 208th Street Southwest and Airport Road in Lynnwood and unincorporated Snohomish County that:
meet Complete Streets requirements,
develop concepts that would provide safe and convenient connections for travelers walking and biking,
