North Snohomish County Transportation Meeting

This Snotrac subarea meeting focuses on transportation issues in the Lower Stillaguamish, North Stillaguamish Valley, Camano Island, and connections to Skagit County.  Attendees include public agencies, nonprofit social service organizations, and other civic leaders and community members.

In August, Community Transit will present its Swift Gold Line project, a bus rapid transit line that will run from Smokey Point in Arlington, through Marysville, and down to Everett Station using surface streets (not the freeway).  The line is currently scheduled to enter service in 2031.

This presentation will be a doubleheader for Community Transit as they will present the project first at the North County meeting from 12-1 p.m., and then to the Mid County meeting from 1-2 p.m.  They'll focus more on the Arlington / North Marysville segment in the first meeting, and the South Marysville / Everett segment in the second meeting.
