About the Event

The Nondrivers Alliance is partnering with Taskar Center for Accessible Technology at the University of Washington to train accessibility champions through a series of in-person walk/roll events focused on transit access.

On March 26, the Nondrivers Alliance and Taskar Center are joining Snotrac at The Village on Casino Road to use new technology tools to map the accessibility of walking and rolling to transit stops in South Everett. The goal of this event is to learn about the statewide sidewalks inventory and accessibility mapping work that's being led by the Taskar Center and to learn how to use Access Map and Aviv Scout Route tools to access this new sidewalk connectivity and accessibility data set.

This event is designed to bring together transit-reliant local residents, disabled community members, community organizations that work with transit-reliant community members, transit agency and local public works staff and local elected leaders. Spanish interpretation will be provided.

Schedule: Thursday, March 26, 2026
